I was a  nurse and I give medications to patients. Since I was an intern, I was given an access to our medical supplies section. We have a shifting schedule but I prefer to work at night shifts. Why? There are less eyes to see what I have been doing in the drugs section of the hospital. Since I have access to medicines that are not being sold over the counter , I was tempted to try a shot. It was one shot a day that became two shots until I found myself craving for more . No body seemed to notice my weight lose, they all think it was due to fatigue. It was in one fateful night that I take on more injections can I can take that broke my secret. My mom saw me lying in my bedroom floor salivating and needles all over the carpet. I was rushed in the hospital and after I was cleansed from the toxins in my blood, I was taken to the Illinois drug rehab center.

I was still at the state of denial at first but with the good drug rehab program they offer, I was healed. The counseling made me realize my self worth and the drug rehab facilities were very conducive for healing and deep thinking. I was an addict and through the drug centers in our area, I was cleansed.
